Caroline H. Orner graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1980 with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland and has been a practicing professional artist ever since. She has held a faculty position at the University of Maryland, teaching Art and Design and her art has been exhibited and critically reviewed in both commercial galleries and museums. She has been honored with support from the Ford Foundation, The Brooklyn Museum, and numerous state and local awards and scholarships.
